YES to this! We need less shaming and more of what this guy did + heartwarming stories of strangers helping out other parents

There is hope for humanity. Even though we have covered parent shaming numerous times , because there are just so many stories about this nasty monster that has been breaking parents’ hearts and making it even more difficult to raise children  there are still positive deeds worth sharing and talking about that will restore your faith in humanity.

Not everyone is out there to judge, ridicule, or roll their eyes at you. There are still good people who care. There are still people compassionate enough to know how hard it is to raise children. Even better there are people who will be compassionate enough to help out, people who understand the importance of building a tribe of parents who will help each other get us through those tough days.

This man is proof that there is still good in this nasty, crazy, sometimes evil world. There is still kindness in people, there is still hope.

Facebook Page Love What Matters shared this photo of a man who volunteered to help a mom during a flight. The mother was pregnant, alone, and had another young child with her. So the man stood up, and offered to help. He told the mom he’s a Dad and he wanted to help comfort the little boy so this mom can rest.

The man walked the aisle throughout the flight comforting the boy.

And what’s even more magical are the stories from the mothers in the comments section sharing their own experiences that will bring you to tears. Not everyone is out to roll their eyes at moms with little kids on a flight. There are those, even strangers, who have been helping others moms ease the burden and the stress of flying with little children for years. We just don’t read about them much.

Most of the comments are from moms who experienced this kind gesture many many years ago saying they will never forget such kindness. Excuse me while I run out to look for Klenex.
